As first-time buyers, we wanted a realtor who was thorough, patient, and generous with advice. We found all of this in Carol.

From our first meeting, in which Carol gave a detailed explanation of what to expect throughout the buying process, we felt a sense of trust as well as confidence that she would understand and meet our needs.

When seeing properties, we never felt rushed or pressured. Carol let us form our own judgments, yet offered solid advice when asked. She patiently explored and evaluated each property with us, and tactfully identified aspects of properties which would have otherwise gone overlooked.

The buying process was much quicker than we’d imagined – especially once we learned we were up against a competing offer – but Carol coached us through it. She lined up a property inspector for the next day and advised how to make the strongest possible offer.

We are grateful to Carol for helping us find a house that satisfied every item on our wish list, and for making the whole process a very positive experience.

When my job caused me to move to the Pickering/Ajax from the city two years ago, I looked for a real estate agency in the yellow pages. I called Royal LePage and fortunately the agency assigned me to Carol Rooney.

I didn’t know the area very well but with Carol’s help and knowledge I soon became acquainted with the different neighbourhoods and what each had to offer.

Without being intrusive, Carol was able to learn a little about me and my needs and used that knowledge to narrow down the search to relevant properties that were well suited to me. This saved both time and unnecessary frustration.

Carol understood that this was a stressful move for me and made everything as easy as possible by accommodating my busy schedule and pointing out all the factors to be considered on each property.

When I finally found the home I wanted to purchase, Carol was able to draw on her network of professional contacts and at my request recommended lawyers, property inspectors and mortgage brokers.

My experience with Carol Rooney was such a pleasant and successful one, that I recently engaged her services once more since I am on the move again.

I wanted to put to paper my thoughts on working with Carol on my recent purchase. Carol is different than all the other agents I've ever dealt with; she cares about her clients finding the absolute best home for them, and is willing to put in any and all efforts necessary to ensure that happens.

Without painting all other agents with the same brush, Carol's ethics set her apart. Carol understood my cicumstances and need to make a purchase quickly, but would not let me settle for the wrong home, and found me the right home in the right timeframe. Carol could have easily sold me on the first home she showed me, but, despite the opportunity to collect a quick commission, she did not, and I will be forever grateful.

Carol, in my opinion, is a tribute to the Royal Lepage team, and now has a client for life.
